Gus Jahnke

Vice President – Finance and Corporate Controller

As VP-Finance/Controller, Gus Jahnke is responsible for managing the Willis Group Companies finance and accounting organization, including corporate accounting and internal controls, financial reporting, tax compliance and support of the corporate financial planning and analysis functions.

Prior to joining Willis Group, Mr. Jahnke served in positions of increasing responsibility within organizations ranging from a small publicly traded start up to large public and not for profit companies and organizations. Gus most recently served as Director of Business Operations at Baylor College of Medicine where he worked with the Chief of Emergency Medicine to build a world class Emergency Medicine department and directed and accounted for annual operations over $120 million and over 700 faculty at multiple centers and campuses. Prior to Baylor, Gus served as Director of Finance at several large health maintenance, hospital, and physician practice companies where he was responsible for financial reporting, risk management, treasury, internal control compliance, and information technology. He has experience in internal audit, corporate financial accounting, treasury operations, project accounting, and information technology management.

Gus holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees from the College of Charleston where he graduated from the honors program and also received departmental honors. Gus also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from St. Thomas University in Houston. Mr. Jahnke is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is also a Certified Forensic Accountant.
